THE NATIONAL PARKS

America the Beautiful Passes are available for purchase.  These passes cost $85/year but are well worth it.  If you visit national parks and/or federal recreation areas on the regular, this really is a savings.  Seniors, you can purchase a lifetime pass for $10.

MUST HAVE TRAVEL ACCESSORIES

The Samsonite underseat suitcase is my new go to bag for long weekends or for trips where I am not interested in checking a bag.  This wheeled bag is easy to navigate, fits much more that you think it will, and slides in under your seat in an economy seat.

The only handbag I ever travel with is my cross-body Baggallini.  This line of bags was designed by two flight attendants.  They come in a wide variety of colors and styles, but most importantly the bags are practical and secure for travelers.

I never leave without tucking a roll of Charmin To Go in my bag.  You might laugh, but I’ve used this travel TP everywhere from a gross bathroom in the Coliseum in Rome to a bathroom with no tissue at the Teotihuacán pyramids in Mexico.
